Terms of Use

Effective: May 2026 · Version 1.1 · Private Beta / Pilot Phase

Short version: A2RAG is in private beta. It's free to use during this phase. We don't store your query content. You own your data. This is experimental software — test before deploying to production.

1. Agreement

By using A2RAG (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. The Service is operated by Stav Vaknin, doing business as A2RAG, Tel Aviv, Israel.

You must be at least 18 years old to use A2RAG.

2. Private Beta — What This Means

A2RAG is currently in private beta. This means the service is experimental, may change without notice, and is provided free of charge during this phase. Features, limits, and terms may change before general availability.

During the beta period:

The service is provided free of charge to all accepted participants
No pricing or payment is required
We may change features, limits, or these terms at any time with reasonable notice
We may end the beta or transition to paid plans — you will receive at least 14 days notice

3. Statistical Model Disclaimer

A2RAG is a statistical system. Decisions may be incorrect.

You acknowledge that:

A2RAG may return "answer" when it should have abstained
A2RAG may return "abstain" when an answer was available
Accuracy varies by domain, language, corpus quality, and query type
Published benchmark results reflect controlled test sets, not your production environment

You are solely responsible for:

Testing A2RAG on your specific corpus before production deployment
Validating decisions are appropriate for your use case
Implementing additional safeguards for safety-critical applications
Not relying on A2RAG as the sole safeguard for high-stakes decisions

A2RAG reduces risk. It does not eliminate it.

4. API Keys

Keep your API key confidential — do not commit to version control or share publicly
You are responsible for all usage under your key
Report compromised keys immediately: stav@aibee.co.il
Keys have usage limits as specified in your onboarding email
We may revoke keys that violate these Terms

5. Acceptable Use

You may use A2RAG for any lawful purpose. You may not:

Process protected health information (PHI/HIPAA) without a signed agreement
Attempt to reverse-engineer the decision algorithm or extract model weights
Use A2RAG to build a directly competing decision layer product
Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
Use the service for any illegal purpose
Share, resell, or sublicense API access without written permission

6. Support During Beta

During the private beta, we aim to respond to support requests within 1-2 business days. This is a best-effort commitment, not a contractual SLA.

7. Privacy & Data

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Key point: We never store the content of queries, contexts, or answers processed through the API. See Privacy Policy Section 3 for the full guarantee.

8. Intellectual Property

A2RAG's decision algorithm and infrastructure are our proprietary IP
The Python SDK (pip install a2rag) is open source under Apache 2.0
You retain full ownership of your data, queries, and knowledge base
"A2RAG" name and logo may not be used without written permission

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY OF DECISIONS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. DURING THE FREE BETA PERIOD, THIS MEANS OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO ZERO.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DECISIONS MADE BY YOUR SYSTEM BASED ON A2RAG OUTPUT.

11. Termination

You may stop using A2RAG at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. During the beta, we may end the program with 14 days notice.

12. Changes

We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
